About

The nineth edition of the Greek Stochastics meeting will take place in Milos, Greece, on 14-17, July 2017. This meeting's primary aim is to facilitate a broad discussion of current research themes related to Model Determination.

Please note that there will also be a few contributed talks and poster presentations.

Short Courses

The three short courses will be given by

  • David Rossell on Bayesian model selection paradigm: likelihood and priors.
    The slides of the talk can be dowlnloaded from here and there.

  • Judith Rousseau on Asymptotic properties of Bayesian nonparametric approaches in high dimensions.

  • Dimitris Politis on Model-Free Prediction and Regression .

Abstract Submission

  • To be considered for a talk please submit an abstract to GrStoch@gmail.com by the 1st of April, 2017 -- Acceptance will be confirmed by 12th of April 2017 .

  • If you wish to be considered for a poster presentation please submit an abstract to GrStoch@gmail.com by the 30th of May 2017.

Registration

The registration fee is 70 pounds and it includes welcome drinks, conference dinner and refreshments during coffee breaks.
