The sixteenth edition of the Greek Stochastics meeting will take place in Zakynthos, Greece, on 28-31 July 2026. This meeting's primary aim is to facilitate a broad discussion of current research themes related to Scalable Inference.

Please note that there will also be a few contributed talks and poster presentations.

Short Courses

The meeting will consist of:

  • three short courses;
  • contributed oral presentations;
  • contributed poster presentations.


The four short courses will be given by

  • Lyudmila Grigoryeva @ University St Gallen on "Learning with random neural networks and reservoir systems".
  • Panayiotis Mertikopoulos @ University of Athens, on "Stochastic training methods for deep learning".
  • Chris Nemeth @ Lancaser University
    on "Scalable Bayesian Inference: Monte Carlo Methods for Modern Data".

Abstract Submission

  • To be considered for a talk please submit an abstract to GrStoch@gmail.com by the 1st of May, 2026 -- Acceptance will be confirmed by 15th of May 2026 .

  • If you wish to be considered for a poster presentation please submit an abstract to GrStoch@gmail.com by the 3rd of July 2026.

Registration

The registration fee is 100 pounds and it includes refreshments during coffee breaks and the conference dinner.
